Create and configure a page

You can create a page when at least one channel allows you to add pages. Use any available entry point:

  • In the web app's top navigation, select the + button (labelled Create when you point to it), then select Page.
  • In the mobile app or on a smaller screen, select the floating + button in the bottom-right corner, then select Page.
  • Open My pages and select Create. On a smaller screen, select the + button beside My pages.
  • Open the channel where the page should appear and select Create. On a smaller screen, select the + button beside the channel name.

The selected entry point opens Create page. Starting from a channel preselects that channel.

  1. Enter the page name under Title.
  2. Under Channel, select where the page should be listed.
  3. Under How would you like to use this page?, select Private page, Community page, or, as an admin, Page with exclusive content. For the exclusive option, also select the required membership plans.
  4. Under How can other members join?, select one option:
    • By Invitation Only: owners add contributors themselves.
    • Members can request to join: owners approve or reject requests.
    • Everyone can join: members become contributors immediately when they join.
  5. Select Create.

You become the page's creator, owner, and contributor. You can change the page settings later.

If Page or Create is not available, the channel may allow only admins to add pages, or the community may not have an available channel. Ask a community admin to check the channel setting.

Edit the page settings​

Page owners and admins can edit a page. Open the page, then select either the visibility button at the top or the pencil button.

  1. Change Title, Channel, or the optional Tags or Topics.
  2. Choose Private page, Community page, or, as an admin, Page with exclusive content. For setup and visibility details, see Create a page with exclusive content.
  3. Choose how other members can join.
  4. Select Save.

Changing the channel moves the page to that channel. A private page remains available to its page members and community admins, while a community page is available to all community members.
