Manage community integrations

Integrations connect your community to selected external tools. Only community administrators can configure them.

Open Manage > Settings > Integrations to see the integrations available to your community.

Available integrations

  • Zapier: Select Zapier, then select Create to generate an API key. Open the Zapier invite link shown on that page, then use the displayed Space ID and API key when Zapier asks you to connect coapp. Keep the API key private.
  • Google Calendar: Select Google Calendar, then select Add calendar account and complete the Google sign-in in the new browser window. Allow popups for coapp if the window does not open. The current interface labels this integration as beta. To synchronize a booking resource, open Manage > Bookings > Resources, edit the resource, expand Calendar synchronization, select the connected account and calendar, then select Start sync. Starting synchronization saves the resource changes and begins the initial synchronization; it may take a few minutes.
  • NUKI: Select NUKI, select Connect, complete the authorization, then use Synchronize to import locks. For booking-resource access setup, see Nuki access configuration.
  • The Events Calendar for WordPress: Select The Events Calendar. On an eligible paid plan, enable the integration, enter the WordPress connection details, choose the event visibilities to sync, test the connection, and select Save. The integration is not available on coapp Free.

Use an external system not listed in Integrations

Sage and Salesforce do not appear as dedicated current entries in the coapp integrations settings. For a custom workflow, automation, website display, or low-code/no-code connection, contact the coapp sales team at sales@coapp.io or use the customer-support chat in the coapp web app. Describe the system, the data or workflow you need, and the community involved.

The team can confirm the current options and requirements before you share credentials or make changes in an external system.

Troubleshoot Google Calendar synchronization

If a resource stops synchronizing, first check that the selected calendar still exists and that the connected Google account still has access to it. In the resource’s Calendar synchronization section, select a connected account and calendar again, then select Start sync to save the resource and restart synchronization. If the account or calendar is no longer available, reconnect the Google account through Manage > Settings > Integrations > Google Calendar before selecting it on the resource.

Contact customer support if the synchronization still does not start. Include the resource name and the connected Google account, but never send passwords or access tokens.

Add custom JavaScript

Community administrators can add a JavaScript snippet that coapp loads on the community site. Open Manage > Settings > JavaScript, enter the snippet, and select Save.

Enter JavaScript only; do not wrap it in <script> tags. The snippet can run for visitors to your community, so add code only from a trusted provider and review what data it receives. Test it in a suitable environment before using it for analytics, chat, or another third-party service.
