Choose where a post appears

The destination selector can publish a post to the main Feed, to a page, or to both the feed and a public page. The visibility message in the composer shows the effective audience.

Destination	Result
Feed	The post appears in the community feed for members.
Public page	The post appears on the selected page. You can also select the feed.
Private, paid, or unpublished page	The post stays on the selected page. Access follows the page settings, memberships, and management roles.
Event Posts section	The update stays on the event and is available to participants, organizers, and admins.
Event Share → Post	The event can be shared in the community feed and remains linked to its event page.

Page owners and contributors can publish page posts. Event creators and organizers can publish event updates. A destination opened from a page or event may be locked.
