Add or remove page and event header images

Page owners and people with event-management access can add a header image from the detail view. coapp recommends an image of 1280 × 720 px (16:9) for both pages and events.

The image area adapts to different cards, headers, and screen sizes. Parts near the edges can therefore be cropped. Keep the important subject near the center and avoid placing essential text in the image.

Add a page header image​

  1. Open the page you own or manage.
  2. Find the empty image area below the page title.
  3. Select the area to choose an image, or drop an image onto it.
  4. Wait for the upload to finish. The page saves the uploaded image automatically.

Add an event header image​

  1. Open the event you created or manage.
  2. Find the empty image area near the top of the event detail view.
  3. Select the area to choose an image, or drop an image onto it.
  4. Wait for the upload to finish. The event saves the uploaded image automatically.

Regular visitors see the image but not the upload or delete controls.

Remove or replace a header image​

  1. Open the page or event and find its header image.
  2. Select the trash button on the image.
  3. Confirm the deletion.

After deletion, the empty upload area appears again. Use it to upload a replacement. If an upload fails, try a smaller image in a common image format and upload it again.
