Add content, links, and files to a page

Page owners and community admins can maintain the page description and its supporting resources. Contributors can publish in the page's Posts feed but cannot edit the page description.

Add a header image​

  1. Open the page.
  2. In the empty image area below the page title, select or drop an image.
  3. Wait for the upload to finish.

The UI recommends an image size of 1280 × 720 px (16:9). To remove the image, select the trash button on the image and confirm.

Build the page description with content sections​

Content sections are ordered building blocks of the page description. Links, file attachments, and posts are separate from these sections.

  1. Open the page.
  2. Select Add Section.
  3. Select Text Section, Image Section, Video Section, or Podcast / Audio Section. Admins can also select Code Section.
  4. Add the section content and save it.
  5. Use a section's controls to add another section, move it up or down, edit it, or delete it.

The order shown while editing is the order page visitors see.

On a page with exclusive content, the Exclusive content starts below divider separates the public introduction from protected sections. See Create a page with exclusive content for positioning and visibility details.

  1. In the page's Links card, select Add.
  2. Enter the link under Add a link.
  3. Select Save.

Use the trash button beside a link to remove it.

Add files​

  1. In the page's Files card, select Add file.
  2. Choose the file.
  3. Wait for the upload to finish.

Select All in the Files card to see the complete list. File attachments are separate from image content sections.

Add tags or topics​

Open the page and select the pencil button. Add the optional Tags or Topics shown in the edit form, then select Save. Visitors can select one to search for related community content.

Publish page posts​

The Posts area is the page-specific update feed, not part of the page description. Owners and contributors can select the post field in this area, create the update, and select Post. These posts remain associated with the page; sharing options in the composer determine whether an update is also shared elsewhere.
