Share public events on your website

Use the public event list to show your community's public events outside coapp, for example on your website or a partner page. The shared and embedded lists show only events that are public. Community-only events remain unavailable to visitors who are not signed in.

The menu is available to people who can create events in the community.

  1. Open Events in the main navigation.
  2. Select the three-dot menu beside Create.
  3. Select Public event list.
  4. Copy the address from the new browser tab and add it to your website, email, or other communication.

Visitors can open this list without signing in and select an event for its public details.

Embed the event list​

Only community administrators can create the embed code.

  1. Open Events in the main navigation.
  2. Select the three-dot menu beside Create.
  3. Select Embed event list.
  4. Review the preview, then select Copy.
  5. Paste the copied HTML code into an HTML or embed block on your external website.

The embed uses the public event list, so it updates as public events are added or changed in coapp. Give the embed area enough height on your website for visitors to browse the list.

If an event is missing​

Check that Events is enabled for your community and that the event is published with a public visibility option. The public list intentionally excludes events that require a community login.
