Customize your community branding

Branding helps members recognize that they have arrived in the right community. Community administrators can set the logo, favicon, colors, and introductory content used in the community experience.

Open customization settings​

In the web app, select Manage, then select Settings and choose Customization.

  1. Under Space logo, choose a JPEG or PNG image.
  2. Check the preview.
  3. Select Save.

The logo is shown in areas of the community interface, including navigation and public-facing views where the community logo is used.

Set a favicon and colors​

On the same Customization page:

  1. Under Favicon, choose a JPEG or PNG image and select Save.
  2. Under Space colors, enter or choose the Primary color, Secondary color, and Text color.
  3. Select Save for the colors.

Use colors with enough contrast that text and controls remain easy to read. Check the community on a phone as well as a larger screen after changing them.

Update the community introduction​

The Space introduction section controls the introductory steps shown to new members. Open each step to edit its title, subtitle, and any available image, then select Save. Use a short welcome and clear next steps so members know how to begin participating.
